Lauren Drewitt scores hat-trick for Army women's football team in exciting 3-3 draw with Kent

Lauren Drewitt scored a memorable hat-trick as the British Army women's football team played out an entertaining 3-3 draw with Kent.
A calm first half saw the Army go into half-time a goal down thanks to Kaydence Kabadaki, but a non-stop second period saw both sides score multiple times.
It looked as though the Army would lose in the final moments, but Drewitt's third goal of the game saved them from defeat.

Olivia Kavanagh-Spall and Maisie Mileham were the other scorers for Kent, and it means both teams end the competition on one point, with the Army finishing third in the group on goal difference.
They've proven to be a real goal threat in the tournament, having scored eight times in just three games, but a 2-1 defeat to Middlesex and a 5-4 loss to Essex ended their hopes of challenging for the trophy.
Elsewhere, the Royal Navy lost at the semi-final stage of the women's PDFA Cup by a 4-1 scoreline to AFC Portchester at HMS Temeraire.
