RAF men's captain 'desperate to score' as champions get set to defend Inter Services title
RAF captain Sergeant Michael Campbell will be gunning for a goal against the British Army in the opening match of the men's Inter Services football championships.
The striker scored a hat-trick against the Army in 2022, but failed to get his name on the scoresheet during last year's tournament that saw the RAF retain their trophy.
"I'm desperate to get on the scoresheet," said Sgt Campbell. "Ultimately, that's why I'm in the team as a striker."

The RAF start the defence of their crown in Aldershot with an Army side determined to stop any more Air Force dominance.
However, RAF head coach Andy Kuchta says his team are as motivated as ever.
"We don't devalue the competition any less than previous years, you know? he said.
"You know, if I'm being brutally honest, it adds a little bit more of a sort of incentive to try and win a treble because that sounds better than a double.
"But I'm sure the Army and the Navy are going to do their utmost to spoil our fun."
