'Biggest event of the season': Army prepare for tough Inter Services RAF clash
The British Army men's football team are preparing for the 'biggest event of the season' when they face the RAF in the Inter Services opener according to head coach, Major Jimmy Blair.
In last season's tournament, this match-up decided the Inter Services trophy in the RAF's favour after a 2-1 win in Shrewsbury.
"That's to be a tough start isn't it?" said the Army head coach.

"We reviewed the game [last year], we watched it back – it's the second time I've been able to watch it back – and you're managing to pick out their strengths of which they've got a lot."
While the RAF have been champions for three consecutive years, the Army have prepared for 2024's season with a trip to Australia – where they faced the Royal Australian Army.
Maj Blair said: We had three weeks in Australia which was a great pre-season actually, for us.
"We had every morning, one place for almost three weeks and again another three weeks together."
