Scots Make History Despite Injury Setback

154 Scottish Regiment RLC has won the Army Reserve Cup for the first time in the unit's history.

An injury-time goal from Sean Connolly saw them beat three-times champions and last year's runners up 152 North Irish regiment RLC 1-0 at the Military Stadium in Aldershot.

The Scottish outfit had suffered a major setback early in the first half when skipper Jim Fraser was stretchered off with a broken leg.
