Seven-goal thriller: 1 Mercian retain Infantry Cup in wet conditions against 2 Scots
1 Mercian have retained the Infantry Cup after beating 2 Scots 5-2 in extra time in Tidworth.
In atrocious conditions, 2 Scots looked the stronger side to start and were the first to hit the back of the net after 15 minutes through Callum Mitchell.
In the second half, the Mercians' persistence paid off with an equaliser on 51 minutes through Sam Barber.

Barber then doubled his tally with another second-half goal before Mitchell scored for 2 Scots and put the game into extra time.
Barber sealed a hat-trick to put the Mercians ahead early on with Ryan Scarrott and Zak Smith adding their names to the scoresheet to make the final score 5-2 to 1 Mercian.
