Jayne Kavanagh, Chef de Mission for Team UK said: "Team UK and the Invictus Games are about providing our wounded and their families with a springboard for their recovery, through the power of sport.

"To have the support of David Beckham and his family is a great boost to all our guys and girls."

Team UK have won more than 60 medals at the 2018 Games, including numerous personal bests.

Mark ‘Dot’ Perkins, UK Team captain said "This team has not only used sport as a recovery tool, but used it to cement friendships for life. To say I’m proud is a massive understatement for this team."

The 2018 Invictus Games ends on Saturday with a closing ceremony at the Olympic Park.
