Prince Harry and Meghan to spend Valentine's at Invictus Games winter training camp

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex plan on spending Valentine's Day in Whistler, Canada, to attend an Invictus Games training camp.
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle will join members of the participating nations’ winter training camp one year ahead of the 2025 Invictus Games.
The Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 will take place from 8-16 February next year, and will see participation from more than 500 competitors representing 23 nations.

"The Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 will offer a global platform to expand the range and profile of winter adaptive sports," Prince Harry said.
"With deep respect, I'm also pleased to share that the games in Canada will be held in partnership with the First Nations, in the spirit of truth and reconciliation with indigenous communities," he added.
The Invictus Games have expanded and evolved since they were first created in 2014 by Prince Harry after he returned from his service in Afghanistan.
Next year will see winter sports featured in the Invictus Games for the first time.
The winter camp includes training in Alpine Skiing, Snowboarding, Nordic Skiing, and Biathlon as well as educational workshops in the evenings.
Dominic Reid OBE, CEO of the Invictus Games Foundation, said: "This camp is not only a marker in the diary celebrating one year until the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 but an opportunity to build a legacy programme of continued access to adaptive winter sports across our participating nations.
"As the first Invictus Games to incorporate winter adaptive sports in addition to some of the core sports from previous Invictus Games, we're excited about the impact this will have across the world."
