'Lossie Eagle' crowned first-ever Air Force darts champion after exciting comeback

The RAF Darts Association have crowned their first-ever champion after a thrilling inaugural competition at RAF Cosford.
Flight Sergeant Gareth Edwards, who has the nickname the 'Lossie Eagle', beat Barry Jones in the final after a stunning comeback from three sets down.
His 69.19 average helped him fight back and win the trophy in a 4-3 triumph.

During the competition, FS Edwards hit two 180s and five 140+ scores as he took on a competitive field of players.
With the win, the champion has booked himself a spot in this month's Operation Bullseye II event as well as entry in the PDC Q School in January.
