UKAF rugby league's final President's Cup clash cancelled due to injuries and deployments

The final game of UK Armed Forces rugby league's President's Cup campaign won't be played after UKAF confirmed they are unable to field a team.
An entertaining clash with England Universities was in store, but injuries and deployments mean UKAF can not put out a team for the final game.
The students have been awarded a 24-0 win and finish as runner-ups after GB Teachers sealed the trophy in their last match.

In a statement, UKAF rugby league said: "The RFL President's Cup 2026 Round fixture between England Universities and United Kingdom Armed Forces, scheduled to take place on Wednesday 10 June at Halton Farnworth Hornets has been cancelled.
"The cancellation is at the request of UKAF who are unable to raise a side due to a combination of injuries and player availability as a result of increased overseas and frontline deployments in the Royal Navy, the Army and the Royal Air Force.
"Whilst both sides are disappointed that the fixture will not take place, both organisations understand the global pressures that our nation’s armed forces are under and the reasons for the game's cancellation."
