0.05 seconds gap: Tight finish sees Navy skier beat his teammate in Telemark Slalom
It was a tense battle of Navy teammates in the men's Telemark Giant Slalom event at Meribel 2025 with the winner decided by just 0.05 seconds.
Marine Olly Wotton celebrated victory, following up his Telemark Sprint and Parallel Sprint wins with another success while Air Engineering Technician Matthew Deane had to settle for second place again.
Major Stefan Hurst from the British Army finished in third for the second race of the week while the Navy picked up the team award.

The women's competition was won by the Navy too as Able Rate Georgiana Altham made it two wins from three on the slopes.
The podium was the same as the Sorint event with Army pair Sapper Georgia Binnington (2nd) and Major Lori Seed (3rd) joining AB Altham.
