British Army Alpine skier Sapper Lizzie Knox has continued her impressive dominance in the Alpine Skiing events after taking gold in the BT Alpine Ski Slalom event in Meribel.

Her win comes as a continuation of good form from Spr Knox following her impressive victory in the Super Combined race earlier this week.

The Army skier took the win over RAF pair Air Specialist 1 Georgina Davis and Squadron Leader Claire Nixon.

In the men's event, RAF Alpine skier Flying Officer Ollie Weeks backed up his win in the Super Combined event on Wednesday to take gold in the Alpine Ski Slalom.

He bested his RAF teammate Flying Officer Jed McNab, who had to settle for silver as the British Army's Captain Rob van Beck took bronze.

The RAF took the team title in the men's event, while the British Army took the team title in the women's.

The Alpine skiers will be in action for the final time on Friday in the Palo Alto Alpine Ski Giant Slalom.
