Navy Gymnastics founder to represent Team GB at Masters Gymnastics World Cup

Commander Jamie Weller, the chairperson and founding member of the Royal Navy Gymnastics Association, has been selected to represent Team GB at the Masters Gymnastics World Cup.
The annual international event, which is set to take place in Boston in the United States in June, includes the best over-30s athletes from across the world competing for team and individual medals on Olympic-standard apparatus.
Since co-founding the Royal Navy Gymnastics Association in 2015, Cdr Weller has won 29 British titles at the British Adult Gymnastics Championships while representing the Navy.
Speaking to NavyFit, Cdr Weller said he felt "very privileged" to be selected to compete at one of the most prestigious adult gymnastics events in the world.
He said: "I was very excited when I received the confirmation that I would be representing Team GB in Boston.
"Unfortunately, last year I missed the team as I was still recovering from a ruptured bicep. I feel very privileged to have been selected to represent my country in the event this year."
