RAF hockey star Liam Sanford helps GB fight back to earn thrilling draw in Paris

Team GB's men's hockey team, which includes RAF player Air Specialist 1 Liam Sanford, have kept their Olympic hopes alive after coming back from behind to draw 2-2 against the Dutch in Paris.
AS1 Sanford started for Team GB in their third pool game against a traditionally strong Dutch team, as they seek to progress on to the quarter-finals.
In the first quarter, Sanford went off clutching his cheek after a clash on the pitch from a resulting penalty corner, as Team GB remained level at 0-0 with the Dutch at half-time.
AS1 Sanford was able to rejoin in the third quarter where Team GB found themselves on the back foot after a thumping Dutch goal by Floris Wortelboer.
With just 15 minutes to go to find an equaliser, a second Dutch goal courtesy of Thijs van Dam spelt double trouble for Team GB.
GB responded well with a goal by Lee Morton, who worked his way into a good shooting position to drive his shot into the net.
With less than two minutes on the clock, Morton delivered again to level GB up against the Dutch 2-2 to become the first team of these games to take points away from the Dutch.
AS1 Sanford previously played in GB's first match win against Spain and then their draw against South Africa.
They will go on to play the host nation, France, on Thursday and Germany on Friday, where they need to finish top four in their pool to progress to the final eight.
AS1 Sanford's family is out in Paris to watch him play in the Stade Yves-du-Manoir as his father Mark posted a video on social media of his family in the stands singing along to Neil Diamond's Sweet Caroline.
