Royal Signals Cruise Into Woolwich Cup Final
The Royal Signals will play in the 2020 Woolwich Cup final after beating the Royal Logistic Corps in Aldershot.
A 2-0 win at the Military Stadium booked the Signals' place in the showpiece match.
Goals from Ryan Barker and Jamie Turner sealed the win despite a good performance from RLC goalkeeper Joe Gorman.
The opening goal came within the first two minutes.
Antony Dean’s free-kick provided the perfect delivery for Barker to power in a header from six yards out.
The Signalmen dominated the first half and would have been further in front if not for a string of brilliant saves from Gorman.

Turner, Joe Kelly and Barker all went close but Gorman managed to keep the score at 1-0.
In the second half, Gorman made a couple more good saves but he would be beaten again before full-time.
Watson's cross from the right was met by a brilliant looping header by Turner which flew into the top corner.
The 2-0 win means the Signals will play the Royal Engineers in the final.
