Disappointment for British Army in Crosfields rugby league Armed Forces Day defeat
A disappointing performance led the British Army men's rugby league team to a heavy defeat on Armed Forces Day against Crosfields.
Despite taking the lead through Mikey McDonald, Crosfields crossed the try-line eight times in a comprehensive 40-14 victory for the home side.
Ethan Riley and Jake Boardman scored consolation tries for the Army in the second half to a subdued reaction.

The two teams have created an Armed Forces Day rivalry over recent years and while the match is usually closer, Crosfields were comfortably the better team on the day.
Earlier in the day, the Army development team showed their potential with a thumping win over the Royal Marines.
