Army teams return to Inter Services rugby with double victory over RAF

The men and women of the British Army got the better of the RAF in an Inter Services Rugby Union double-header in Gloucester on Saturday.

First up at the Kingsholm Stadium, the Army Women returned to the Inter Services competition with a 24-10 win, after going 12-0 up at the halfway stage.

Next up, to kick off the men's competition, the Army again got the better of the Air Force, with a 35-20 victory to kickstart their 2022 campaign.

Debutant Courtney Pursglove was the star of the show in the women's match with tries for the Army - including a superb interception and lengthy run.

The men's match saw Bath's Semesa Rokoduguni show his talent for the men in red while it was a fantastic first Inter Services match for Jack Johnson.

He got the man-of-the-match award with a stellar display.
