RAF and UKAF rugby star Daisy Aspinall signs for PWR team Harlequins

RAF and UK Armed Forces rugby union star Daisy Aspinall has joined Premiership Women's Rugby team Harlequins for the new season.

The winger, who is known for her speed in attack, previously represented Gloucester-Hartbury and has played for England at under-18s and under-20s level.

Aspinall's shining moment in a UK Armed Forces shirt came in the opening match of the 2025 International Defence Rugby Competition where she scored five tries in UKAF's 105-0 record win over Tonga.

She joins Sarah Bonar (RAF), Manuqalo Komaitai (Army), Lauren Brooks (Army), Jade Mullen (Army) as a military community at Quins.

Speaking to the club's media, Aspinall said: "I'm so excited to have the opportunity to become part of this iconic Harlequins club.

"To finish off long-term rehab with this group and pull on a new shirt is something I've been working towards for so long, and I cannot wait to get started with the team!"
