
RAF referee set for Six Nations officiating debut after selections confirmed for 2026 tournament

RAF rugby union referee Rebecca Piddlesden will make her Six Nations debut in 2026.
It's been confirmed that the Air Force official will be part of the officiating team at the women's tournament this year as an assistant referee.
She will be involved in at least three games at the tournament, starting with Ireland v Italy at the Dexcom Stadium in Galway on 18 April.

Her next appointment will see her deal with the Irish again when they travel away to the Stade Marcel Michelin to face France on 25 April.
Her final appointment is currently scheduled to be the Wales v Italy fixture at Cardiff Arms Park on 17 May.
In 2024, Piddlesden was an assistant referee at the Allianz Stadium for the men's Army v Navy match.
A year later, she was the official in the middle at the same Twickenham venue for the women's Army v Navy clash.
