
Navy rugby union comfortably beat Millbrook Ladies as Inter Service games loom

The Royal Navy women's rugby union team have recorded a confidence-boosting 55-14 win over Millbrook Ladies in Portsmouth.
A strong Navy team punished any space left by the Millbrook defence to run in a number of tries at Burnaby Road.
Players such as UKAF stars Jasmine Abel, Rose Dixon, Lucy Honeybell, Laika Swain all started for the Senior Service.

The Navy led 22-7 at the end of the first half with Honeybell, Abel, Erin Hart and Josie Parnaby all getting on the scoresheet while Jess Bryan was scoring with the boot.
The second half continued in the same vein as the Navy rattled in 33 more points in a convincing win.
Before the Inter Service matches, the Navy will play difficult fixtures against the British Fire Service in Portsmouth and the French Marine Nationale at Havant Rugby Club.
