Sarah Bonar celebrates 50 Scotland caps with World Cup defeat to Canada

The RAF's Sarah Bonar celebrated her 50th cap for Scotland in a World Cup defeat to Canada in Exeter.
Bonar started the match wearing the number five shirt before she was substituted for Jade Konkel, who is her club captain at Harlequins.
The 40-19 loss to the Canadians confirmed Scotland's quarter-final clash with England, which will see Bonar take on her RAF teammate Amy Cokayne.

Posting on her Instagram account after the game, Bonar said: "There were times along the way I thought this milestone might never come, with injuries and setbacks coming in thick and fast. But the girls I share the pitch with inspire me every single day—this squad truly are my family.
"The result didn’t go our way, but there’s so much to be proud of. Grateful for every opportunity to pull on the shirt and fight alongside my best mates. Shout out to Royal Air Force Police for their continued support!"
