Zambia dominate against the Tongans to boost their Pool A qualification hopes
Zambia have kick-started their IDRC 2025 campaign with a thumping 90-0 win over Tonga in Basingstoke.
The team were forced to forfeit their match against the Irish Defence Forces due to travel issues, but were in the UK in time to play Tonga in their second pool A match.
A stunning display saw them score 14 tries in a victory.

A hat-trick from Dorothy Kasonka was the headline, while Lushomo Liwena proved to be a menacing threat with tries and conversions.
It was another disappointing afternoon for Tonga, who showed brief glimpses of quality but failed to match the intensity of the Zambian attack.
