British Army table tennis players show their strength with Inter Services title triumph
It was British Army domination at the 2024 Inter Services table tennis championships in Aldershot.
A strong performance in the men's tournament saw individual champion Second Lieutenant Ben Avery and Lance Corporal Dom Weston lead the Army to the team title.
The women's singles trophy went to RAF debutant Air Specialist Class One Darcie Proud, but a strong performance throughout from the Army competitors saw them take the women's team title too.

Both singles titles were won by ex-international players as AS1 Proud has represented England in her previous sporting career while 2Lt Avery has played for Wales.
After strong performances from all three services, the hope is that a UK Armed Forces team could challenge on a national circuit.
