Who's in contention?: Nominees announced for the 2025 Army Sports Awards

The nominees for the major awards at the 2025 Army Sports Awards have been announced.

The options for Sportsman of the Year include a variety of sports such as Strongman, Climbing and Martial Arts while seven women have been nominated for Sportswoman of the Year.

That includes dual-sport superstar Paige Attwell from Ice Hockey and Strongman, boxer Niamh Brookes and international rugby union star Manuqalo Komaitai, who appeared for Fiji at this year's Rugby World Cup.

Team of the year has 10 squads to choose from, while eight future stars have been nominated for the Rising Star award.

The event takes place on 20 November at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, and you can see all nominations in British Army Sport's Instagram post below.
