What a machine! RAF Chinook makes a grand tour of Jeremy Clarkson's farm

You would expect to see pigs, chickens and cows on a farm – but how about a Royal Air Force Chinook?
Former Top Gear and Grand Tour presenter Jeremy Clarkson welcomed a Chinook from 28 Squadron onto his Diddly Squat Farm for training purposes.
Diddly Squat, the setting for the hit Amazon Prime series Clarkson's Farm, posted footage of the aircraft to its Instagram page, with the comment "What a machine".
RAF Odiham has since confirmed the landing of the Chinook to Forces News.
It said: "A 28 Squadron Chinook conducted a training approach and departure in an unfamiliar location/field south of Chipping Norton as part of a routine training sortie.
"This was a field within Mr Clarkson's farmland. Landowner's permission was granted for the aircraft to conduct the training at the location."
In March it was announced that Britain's heavy-lift capability will be bolstered with the arrival of new Chinook helicopters after the Defence Secretary confirmed a £2bn deal with Boeing.
Grant Shapps announced the fleet of 14 upgraded Chinooks after he reversed a decision to cancel an order on the grounds of cost.
