Merkava V: Israel's 70 tonne main battle tank being rolled out to war
The Merkava Mark V, also known by the Hebrew nickname of "Barak", which translates to "lightning" in English, is the latest generation of Israel's main battle tank.
The 70-tonne fifth-generation tank is bristling with new technology, including advanced AI, and has just started to be rolled out to crews in the Israeli Defence Force.
