Harry Clark, the winner of this year's BBC One series The Traitors, has made the transition to Civvy Street to pursue a career in reality TV.

The veteran won £95,000 on the psychological reality show by playing as the "ultimate traitor" and is now looking forward to civilian life after his last day as a soldier.

The 23-year-old, who has left 47 Regiment Royal Artillery and signed up with talent agency InterTalent, took to Instagram on Tuesday to mark the end of his military career, saying: "Big day today, my last day in the Armed Forces."

Speaking to Forces News and BFBS just after the final episode of series two of The Traitors aired, the former soldier revealed he was already thinking of leaving the Armed Forces before he took part in the popular BBC show.

He also credited the British Army for its unwavering support and for making him who he is today, saying: "When it comes to the military, obviously, all respect to the military, it made me the man I am today."

He added: "And it's been amazing, obviously, in helping me with winning the game, let's be honest."

The Traitors winner has appeared on several different shows such as This Morning, Loose Women, BBC Radio 2 and, of course, Forces News to talk about what his future looks like and his British Army career.

Harry joined the Army Foundation College at Harrogate in Yorkshire at 16 and then went on to train as an aviation technician with the Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers, stating that one of his proudest moments was when he received his blue aviation beret.

The former soldier received his wings last year which qualified him to conduct essential maintenance on anything from a helicopter to a tactical unmanned aerial system in the regiment's REME workshop.
