The Traitors: Could serving soldier Harry Clark be the greatest player of all time?

It seems the military community is either talking about the berets in Netflix's Fool Me Once or how soldier Lance Corporal Harry Clark is dominating BBC's The Traitors.
Social media is buzzing with chat about Lance Corporal Clark's confident gameplay while playing as a Traitor in the popular psychological reality show.
While his fellow Traitor Paul is seen by many as the perfect TV villain, claiming credit for making LCpl Clark into a great Traitor, the soldier has earned praise from many people on social media for his charming and clever gameplay.
Speaking of his concerns to the camera that a newly recruited Traitor could turn against him, LCpl Clark says: "If you come for me, I'll put you six feet under – I've done it three times before."
Strategic, calm under pressure and mission-focused, it seems LCpl Clark is using his military training to give himself an advantage against his civilian counterparts.
And members of the public are lapping it up, including former Faithfuls who are blindsided when they discover he had been deceiving them the whole time.
So far in the show, there have been five Traitors – three originals and two who were recruited since the start – while the rest of the contestants are Faithfuls.
Each Traitor's role is to eliminate, also known as "murder", one player at night, while the Faithfuls try to identify and "banish" the conspirators.
The last Faithfuls can win up to £120,000, but if any undetected Traitors remain, they take the money instead.
Before the show aired, LCpl Clark said: "When I'm playing as a Traitor, I'm playing for myself 100%. Whether the Traitors are a group or not, I'm playing as the ultimate Traitor."
And he hasn't disappointed.
Privately to the cameras LCpl Clark reveals his current thought process, but gives away that at the end of the day his loyalty is to himself, saying: "Me and Paul, we've been there together from the start and I think we'll be sticking together."
However, he adds: "I'm making sure I'm getting to that final by any means necessary."
And that he does.
After LCpl Clark is led to believe by Charlotte that his fellow Traitor is conspiring against him, he decides Paul's fate, saying: "That caught me off my feet and I mean if he wants to come at me, let the games begin.
"Paul really thinks he's the mastermind behind it all, but at the same time he just has this heat on him.
"I've got plenty of stories and I've set seeds now. If I need to take him down, it's easy picking."
Leaning into people's already high opinion of him and knowing they know he is a serving soldier, LCpl Clark positions himself as the most trustworthy Faithful by saying: "People around this table know that I would literally walk through fire with all of you on my back to win a mission."
Spoilers ahead
After receiving the most votes at the round table, including one from his fellow Traitor LCpl Clark, Paul is left feeling deflated, but speaking privately to the cameras afterwards he claims Harry has learned how to be a great Traitor from him.
He said: "I played it as best that I could and I think even little Harry's learned a bit from the way I was playing it because the way he's taken me down, that moment then was just perfect."
When Paul reveals he is a Traitor the whole room is elated as their suspicions have been proven correct two nights in a row, and Faithful Charlotte exclaims Paul is "the best Traitor that ever existed in the world".
It seems that those who view LCpl Clark as a hero for encouraging people to vote for Paul are unaware they have fallen for a double bluff.
By voting for Paul as a Traitor, they have been tricked by someone who is widely regarded by the viewers as the greatest Traitor of all time, a GOAT.
