Sandhurst team and Bahrain National Police take top titles in All Arms Pace Sticking

Watch: Jordanian team take part in annual Sandhurst All Arms Pace Sticking competition

A team from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst has taken the Best UK Team prize at this year's All Arms Pace Sticking competition.

Nineteen teams took part, including those travelling from Jordan, Bahrain and Pakistan, with the accolade for Best International Team going to the Bahrain National Police.

As well as nationality, the teams varied in age, including a team of 16 and 17-year-olds from AFC Harrogate and a team of Chelsea Pensioners in their 70s and 80s.

And this year saw an all-officer team enter the competition for the first time.

But what is a pace stick and what are the judges looking for?

The video above explains how the Jordanian team got on.
