How could Ukraine take back Crimea from Russia?
Ukraine wants to push Russia out of all of its territory, which would include Crimea, illegally annexed by Moscow in 2014.
In August, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the war in Ukraine began with Crimea and must end with the liberation of the Russia-occupied region.
Mr Zelensky, in a video address after several explosions hit the area, said: "Crimea is Ukrainian, and we will never leave it behind.
"This Russian war against Ukraine and against entire free Europe began with Crimea and must end with Crimea – with its liberation."
The Ukrainian president followed this up when, in January, at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, he said: "Crimea is our land, our territory," and asked the West for weapons to retake the strategic peninsula.
"Our objective is to liberate all of our territories," he told an audience in Davos. "Crimea is our land, our territory, our sea, and our mountains. Give us your weapons and we will bring our land back."
Forces News has taken a look at whether or not this is a realistic goal for Kyiv in the video above.
