'Insane' footage shows Ukrainian troops fighting from inside Humvee before it explodes

Incredible footage has emerged showing Ukrainian forces fighting against Russia from inside a High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) or Humvee.

Posted on X, formerly Twitter, by Ukraine's Ministry of Defense, the video shows Ukrainian personnel firing from inside of the vehicle, including one soldier firing from the weapon on top of the vehicle.

Shockingly, the vehicle then appears to be hit by a Russian rocket or missile, but the troops manage to escape the Humvee.

"Thank you to the American people!" the post said. "Your Humvees save the lives of our soldiers."

A Humvee is a lightweight, four-wheel-drive tactical vehicle that can carry weapons from machine-guns to anti-tank weaponry.

The vehicles are capable of operating in multiple environments and can be transported and sling-dropped by helicopters.
