UK commits additional £60m of funding to Nato's Ukraine fund

The UK has committed an extra £60m of funding to Nato's Ukraine fund.
The aid includes combat rations, fuel, medical supplies; body armour; winter clothing and equipment to counter mines and chemical and biological threats, the Ministry of Defence said.
It brings the UK's total contribution to the Nato fund to more than £80m since the conflict began in February 2022.

Defence Secretary Ben Wallace announced the funding during a meeting with Nato counterparts in Brussels.

The money will be added to Nato's Comprehensive Assistance Package (CAP), which also includes support in the areas of cyber and logistics.
Mr Wallace said: "The international community is working together to secure a stable Europe including our critical infrastructure, and to support Ukraine.
"This new contribution for NATO's Ukraine fund is part of our ongoing commitment to provide Ukraine with the equipment and training it needs."
Earlier this week, the UK announced two significant air defence support packages with allies and partners.
