The crew of HMS Prince of Wales have ensured the USS Wisconsin is ship-shape before they leave the US.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, HMS Prince of Wales wished their hosts in Norfolk, Virginia, a Happy Thanksgiving.

And the post outlined that, as thanks for hosting them, they gave the USS Wisconsin museum ship a Thanksgiving makeover.

In a video compilation that accompanied the tweet, the crew of HMS Prince of Wales could be seen painting the walls, sweeping and mopping the floors and generally sprucing up the museum ship.

HMS Prince of Wales has spent recent months off the US east coast conducting training, including the trials of F-35B aircraft.

In an interview for Forces News, the ship's Commanding Officer said the deployment has involved "many firsts".
