US airmen from the 48th Munitions Squadron (MUNS) partnered with RAF personnel from the 93rd Expeditionary Squadron for the Combat Ammunition Production Exercise (CAPEX) at RAF Fairford.

The 48th MUNS are responsible for storing, transporting, inspecting, tracking, maintaining, and constructing all forms of ammunition and explosives for the fighter squadrons and their supporting units. 

CAPEX is a live-munitions production exercise and this year was the first time RAF personnel assisted with the bomb builds.
