Falklands War veterans given freedom of the city of Plymouth on Armed Forces Day
Thousands of people in Plymouth supported military personnel on Armed Forces Day 2022.
While the national host event took place on the other side of the country in North Yorkshire; personnel, veterans and forces families filled Plymouth Hoe to participate in and watch military activities.
The day culminated with Falklands War veterans being honoured with the freedom of the city, marking 40 years since the conflict in the South Atlantic.
