Trick or treat: Himars takes on less lethal role as it opens fire with sweets for Halloween
The US Army has found a light-hearted use for one of its Himars light multiple rocket launchers - blasting a shower of sweets to excited children at Halloween.
The High Mobility Artillery Rocket System is one of the major weapons sent by the West to Ukraine as it defends itself from Russian invasion.
In footage posted on social media by US Army Fort Sill in Oklahoma, you can see the delighted kids looking for the sweets on the ground.
