Kids Lockdown Arts & Crafts: Part Two
During the height of lockdown we asked you and your kids to get creative as part of our Forces Voices competition, here are some of the amazing entries from the under 18 arts and crafts category and the stories behind them. Click here if you want to see more.

Evie Calhaem: The Simple Ocean
"I did a simple graphic drawing of HMS Surprise.
"This was based on a photo however I did not take the photo. I chose graphic as it is one of my favourite techniques to use as it can have many different effects.
"I hope the drawing sparks joy and a bit of nostalgia of how beautiful old ships were."

Georgie Collins: Brunei Beach Sunset
"Since I moved to Brunei I have seen amazing sunsets and I wanted to share them with the world.
"Not everybody will be as lucky as me living in South East Asia, so I wanted to share what I see on a daily basis.
"I copied this picture from a photo I took with my parents when we were walking on the beach."

Poppy Symonds: I Am Art
"I recreated lots of famous artwork.
"I did this as an art project for my school which is a special school, all my friends did this too.
"It was so much fun!"

Esme Casson: Loccupations
"I was minding my own business until my mum started to talk to me about the statistics that people now taking the time to clean their houses has increased significantly and that she was proud she was contributing.
"So she asked me a few days later to clean the bathroom, I reminded her of that conversation - and decided to draw the cleaning products instead of using them to clean the bathroom."

Marley Streete: Tartan Cushion
"Marley is 10 years old and had been asked by school to create a VE day theme craft.
"He chose tartan and tweed fabric as Scotland was where he was born.
"He enjoyed learning to use the sewing machine and gained a lot of confidence whilst creating this piece."

Katie Betts: Blue Dragon
"I love to draw dragons.
"I use the internet to search for images and then I draw my own version."

Evie Rutherford: VE Day 75th Anniversary Celebration
"This is a poster that I created to celebrate the 75th anniversary of VE Day.
"It took quite a lot longer than I expected to complete it, but to honour the heroes that gave so much was worth it and I am very pleased with the finished result."
