Giant poppy display created on pyramids overlooking motorway

Poppy Scotland has decorated the hills overlooking the motorway near Bathgate by creating a giant display of poppies.
The charity, a member of the Royal British Legion group, has spray-painted its display on the grass pyramids next to the M8 in West Lothian to raise awareness and push for donations in support of the British Armed Forces in Scotland.
The incredible display of three poppies can now be seen by motorists on the M8 which is the busiest motorway in Scotland, connecting the cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh.
A video was shared by the charity showing volunteers using a poppy-shaped template to mark the outline of a poppy on the ground.
The outline was then filled in with red and black paint to distinctly show the poppy, the symbol of remembrance.
Poppy Scotland has been painting the giant poppy display on the pyramids next to the motorway every year since 2011.
Ahead of Remembrance Day, which will mark the 105th anniversary of the end of the First World War, Poppyscotland will join the Royal British Legion in its annual appeal.
