Junior soldiers take a break from training to learn about D-Day in Normandy

The British Army's youngest soldiers, recruits from the Army Foundation College in Harrogate, travelled to Normandy to learn about D-Day and the men who fought and died there in 1944. 

The young recruits took five days out from the pressures and the challenges of basic training to learn about the largest seaborne invasion in modern history. 

Forces News travelled to France to see what the junior soldiers learned and how the trip formed an important part of their preparations for careers in the Field Army.
