Remembrance Sunday: How Britain honoured those who gave their lives for freedom

Thousands of military veterans, serving personnel and members of the public turned out across the UK to honour all those who gave their lives in the service of their country and the Commonwealth.

In London, more than 10,000 veterans were led by the King to the Cenotaph, with many more coming together elsewhere across the UK.

Hundreds of services were held in communities, cities and villages as the nation collectively honoured the fallen.
