Flotilla of Dunkirk Little Ships gets together again 84 years after WW2 evacuation
At St Katherine Docks in central London, a number of vessels bob up and down in the water.
And they all have one thing in common - each of them sailed from southern England to Dunkirk in northern France between 26 May and 4 June 1940, to help save the British Army.
By that time, British, French and other Allied soldiers had become trapped by the advancing Germans and the sea was their only way out.
These Little Ships, as they became known, enabled an unlikely escape.
Forces News visited the central London docks to get a better understanding of the different backgrounds of some of these vessels.
