The commander in charge of the British Army's combat troops says the military can only attract top UK talent by being open to all.

Lieutenant General Patrick Sanders, Commander Field Army, told Forces News that he wants a diverse service where sexuality is no longer an issue.

He said he had no problem with humour in the ranks, but would not tolerate any behaviour - including banter - that offends.
