What British and American military assets are in the Middle East region?
UK and US warships continue to be on standby in the Eastern Mediterranean for a possible evacuation of British and American citizens from Lebanon.
The UK's HMS Duncan and RFA Mounts Bay remain around Cyprus, while the US has a number of ships in the region.
