Forces Charities Team Up To Open Life Skills Facility
A new facility for limbless or blind veterans has been opened in a joint venture between the forces charities Blind Veterans UK and Blesma.
The accommodation block at Blind Veterans's centre in Llandudno has five independent living apartments, for members of the charities who are at risk of becoming homeless.
Residents, who are of working age, will take part in a Life Skills programme, helping them to learn to live independently and gain employability skills.
