Micky Yule in contention for Scottish Sports Award

Army veteran Micky Yule could win a 2022 Scottish Sports Award after being nominated for Moment of the Year.
At the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, Yule finally won a medal after missing out in 2014 and 2018.
His celebration saw his young daughter Tilly join him on the podium and that moment has earned Yule a nomination.

Yule spent time with the Royal Engineers before an IED explosion in 2010 resulted in him losing both of his legs.
Since then, he's rebuilt his life with a focus on para-powerlifting and has won bronze medals at the Commonwealth Games and Paralympics in the past two years.
He told Forces News after his Birmingham performance that his Commonwealth Games medal is his best achievement.
He said: "This tops everything. I won a bronze medal at the Paralympics in front of about 60 people.
"It was about four in the morning and there wasn't even a live stream. I was having to text people to tell them I had won a bronze medal.
"I knew this event was coming. I knew I'd bring a massive crowd down – I've got a lot of my military friends along here," he added.
