1 Regiment Royal Logistic Corps Given Freedom Of Bicester
Soldiers from 1 Regiment, The Royal Logistic Corps (RLC) have marched through Bicester after being given the freedom of the town.
The freedom of Entry is the highest civic honor that can be awarded and hundreds flocked to the town centre to watch the soldiers parade through.
Major Bazz Palfrey said it's "great top have the community there... to have them applaud you and just take time out of their day to come and see us parade with that freedom of Bicester is fantastic, I'm very grateful to them."

Among the hundreds of on-lookers were family and friends of the soldiers, including Major Palfrey's wife, Joanna and their children.
Mrs Palfrey said: "I think they (the children) were looking to see where Daddy was, trying to point him out and obviously when they saw where he was they were very excited.
"Hopefully nobody was put off by the cheers of 'Daddy'!"

Major Palfrey said it was "really important" for him and the other soldiers to have their families watch on.
1 Regiment RLC have been based at St David's Barracks in Bicester since moving across from Germany in 2014.
They have been deployed to Northern Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan.
