Army V Navy Babcock Trophy: The Final Countdown

Watch: Final preparations for the Army teams in Aldershot

The wait is nearly over for the infamous British Army and Royal Navy clash at the home of rugby.

Thousands of soldiers, sailors and marines will be descending on Twickenham this Saturday for the annual Inter-Services Rugby Union match.

It took a record-breaking eight hours for the 80,000 tickets to sell out for the match last November - smashing the record for 2017's game, which took four days to sell out.

If you weren't one of the lucky ones who managed to bag a ticket, you will be able to watch it thanks to Forces Network.

Watch: Last push for the Royal Navy

This year, the 101st edition will be streamed LIVE at forcesnews.com, with live updates throughout the match and anyone not at Twickers will also get to catch up on all the action LIVE on Forces TV and with LIVE commentary on Forces Radio BFS.

Log on to forcesnews.com online, tune into Forces Radio BFBS or watch on Forces TV from 2.50pm on Freeview 96, Sky 450, Virgin 277, Freesat 165 or BFBS TV 09 for 3pm ko.

Even though neither side will be Inter-Services Champions, the pride of being the winners of this match is still at stake.

In their centenary year, the Royal Air Force has already been crowned the Inter-Services 2018 Champions, their 15th title, after beating both the Army & Royal Navy in April.

This Saturday is the 101st time the match has been played since the first one in 1907 when the Royal Navy won 15 - 14 at the Queen’s Club, West Kensington.
