A collection of military medals have been found without an owner following a parade in Shrewsbury.

The Royal Yeomanry Regiment was presented with the Freedom of the Shrewsbury, with inspection and marching through the town, on Saturday, and the medals were found afterwards.

"Please help us find the owner?!" Tweeted D (Shropshire Yeomanry) Squadron, part of the Army's largest Reserve Light Cavalry Regiment.

The picture of the set has been cropped to exclude a further two medals. Locals have been encouraged to engage with the search for the owner.
