Hijacking Alarm Activated By Mistake At Dutch Airport

Passengers and crew were removed from a plane at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport during a major security alert, after a hijacking alarm was activated by mistake.
Dutch military police tweeted that they were investigating a suspicious situation on an aircraft at Schiphol Airport.
Local media reported that emergency services were massing Wednesday night at the airport on the outskirts of Amsterdam.
The social media accounts of the airport later reported that passengers and crew had disembarked and "on-site research" continued.
Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport is one of the busiest airports in Europe.
