Watch How MOD Police Marine Unit Take Over Hostile Vessels

The MOD Police Marine Unit is responsible for ensuring the waterborne security at Devonport naval base, Plymouth.

As well as escorting ships and other vessels into the base, and working with the Queen's Harbour Master on other general police patrols, the team routinely practises firearms tactics.

This is to ensure the team can respond to different kinds of security threats and the unit could be called to go anywhere in the country.
