Hundreds of RAF personnel make final Platinum Jubilee preparations

Hundreds of personnel from across the RAF have undergone final preparations for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Pageant, which is set to take place on Sunday.

Those making the finishing touches to the service's contribution to the event included regular personnel, reservists and the combined bands of the Royal Air Force.

The Platinum Jubilee Pageant will include participation from hundreds of members of the Armed Forces and falls at the end of a four-day bank holiday weekend to commemorate the 70th year of Queen Elizabeth II's reign.
